DNA

DNA

After many years consulting with church and missions leaders from all continents, we have retained 5 fundamental pillars that define the DNA of Jesus Celebration 2033. These elements are straightforward, easy to remember and to integrate into all cultures.

Prayer

Jesus Celebration must be established and rooted in prayer. We aspire to connect with worldwide prayer movements, especially those who have recently rediscovered 24/7 prayer. In prayer we find inspiration, revelation, and renewed strength to carry a vision forward.

Pray without ceasing!
1 Thess. 5:17

Love

Our love for God must manifest itself through our interactions with others. Jesus Celebration should be followed with waves of generosity, social or humanitarian projects, and acts of compassion wherever the resurrection is celebrated. We seek to mobilize Christians to share God's love in tangible ways, especially amongst the downcast of society.

And whoever gives even a cup of cold water
to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple
- truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.
Matthew 10:42

Unity

The end goal is not unity, rather the message that unity imparts to the world. The undeniable evidence that our faith is real, is demonstrated through our unity. However the purpose is not to unify all churches, with particular teachings or to prop up one organization over another. We strive to be multicultural, multiethnic, multidenominational and multigenerational.

That they may all be one.
As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us,
so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

John 17:21

Celebration

Innate in all cultures and unique to humans is the concept of party just as feasts were always at the heart of the Judeo-Christian religious experience. In the same way Jesus Celebration ought to reflect this; being joyful, festive, youthful, artistic and creative. Its sheer expression of beauty in truth will naturally attract the world to discover this worldwide expression of joy and thankfulness.

Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth; sing praises to the Lord!
Psalm 68:32

Witness

In the Bible, all who witnessed the resurrection were so impacted that they became the first missionaries. 2000 years later, this will impact again. This Easter celebration will be a unique historical opportunity for those who do not know of God's love, as they witness the resurrection power within us.

But the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.

Habakkuk 2:14
